YTB Sales Director Benefits Program

Appointment, Terms and Conditions

1. INITIAL APPOINTMENT: The position of Sales Director with YTB is an appointed position in the discretion of YTB management, based upon the demonstration by a Rep of exceptional leadership and sales performance. Every Rep with 500 currently active Travel Agencies sold by them and their Rep downline, to the maximum of 167 (1/3) from any one leg, will be considered for appointment as an YTB Director. In order to receive Director Benefits a Rep appointed as a YTB Director must sign Director Agreement within 30 days of initial appointment as a Director.

2. MAINTAINING DIRECTOR STATUS: On the first anniversary date of qualifying as a Director, and on each anniversary date thereafter, in order to maintain qualification as a Director, there must be at least ONE (1) more active RTA in the Director’s downline than the total on the previous anniversary date. (Example: If on the Director’s second anniversary date there were 1,867 RTAs in the downline, the total number on the third anniversary date must be at least 1,868 RTAs.)

3. MONTHLY DIRECTOR BONUS: A Level 2 or above Director participates monthly in a Director’s Bonus Pool with other Directors as determined monthly by YTB management. A Director accumulates Bonus Points during a month on the following schedule:

  • Level 2 At the level of 2,000 Travel Agencies = 2 Point per dollar of sales;
  • Level 3 At the level of 5,000 Travel Agencies = 3 Points per dollar of sales;
  • Level 4 At the level of 10,000 Travel Agencies = 4 Points per dollar of sales;
  • Level 5 At the level of 25,000 Travel Agencies = 5 Points per dollar of sales.
  • The Bonus Pool for the month ("Bonus Month") is divisible among all Level 2 and above Directors proportionate to their individual total number of Points accumulated in a Bonus Month. The monthly amount of the Director Bonus for every Director shall not be less than $2000.

    COMMENCEMENT OF BONUS AFTER APPOINTMENT: The first Bonus paid to a Director after appointment is determined as follows:

  • The month in which a Director is appointed (see 1 above) is defined as the "Pre-Qualifying" month;
  • The month following is defined as the "Qualifying Month", during which the Director may be required to maintain a minimum number of active Travel Agencies obtained to YTB by the Director determined at the end of the month;
  • The next month is defined as the "Bonus Paid Month", on the 20th day of which the Director will share in the total monthly Director Bonus divisible among all Directors based on the Points accumulated the previous month (See 3 above).
  • DIRECTOR CHALLENGE

    4. ACHIEVEMENT BONUS: Directors are eligible for the following bonuses upon the achievement of the following number of active Travel Agencies obtained to YTB by a Director at a month’s end.

  • At the level of 2,000 RTAs = $50,000 Bonus
  • At the level of 5,000 RTAs = $100,000 Bonus
  • At the level of 10,000 RTAs = $250,000 Bonus
  • At the level of 25,000 RTAs = $1,000,000 Bonus
  • Total Bonus = $1,400,000.00

    In determining eligibility for Achievement Level Bonuses no more than 1/3 of the required numbers of active Travel Agencies may be derived from any one downline leg. YTB may in its discretion waive this requirement, and may take into consideration in awarding Achievement Bonuses all other sales related activities of a Director resulting in the addition of Travel Agencies to YTB. Achievement Bonuses shall be deemed earned and payable on that date set forth by the YTB Accounting Department in its certification of a Director’s entitlement to receive an Achievement Bonus.

    5. GROUP HEALTH AND LIFE INSURANCE BENEFITS: A Director will receive the following benefits and options:

  • YTB will furnish upon Director request, group health benefits at no cost to the Director, guaranteed issue, which will commence on the first day of the month following the Qualifying Month. The Director may elect to pay for group health benefits for family or business partner, and the cost of such additional coverage will be deducted from the Director’s Bonus;
  • YTB will furnish upon Director request, a $100,000 life insurance policy at no cost to the Director, which will commence on the first day of the month following the Qualifying Month. The Director may elect to pay for expanded life insurance on self, and life insurance on family or business partner, and the cost of such coverage will be deducted from the Director’s Bonus;
  • The Director may further elect to pay for self, family, and/or business partner dental insurance, short term disability or long term disability coverage.
  • 6. OTHER PROVISIONS:

  • Exclusive to YTB: In order to maintain status as a YTB Director, the Director, spouse, family, household members, or Director business partner are required not to participate in any other direct sales, network marketing or director sales company;
  • Disclosure: A Director must fully, at all times, disclose any ongoing residual income being received from any other network marketing or direct sales company;
  • Event Participation: A Director must participate in YTB conference calls, meetings and events as required by the company from time to time;
  • Compliance: Directors agree to comply with the Policies and Procedures, and Terms and conditions of a Rep of YTB, and to remain in good standing;
  • Materials and Presentations: All materials and presentations relating to YTB and Your Travel Network must be company pre-approved;
  • Charging of Fees: YTB prohibits the Directors from charging any fees, tuition, or purchases of any events or materials without prior company approval;
  • IMR status: Directors shall maintain the status of an YTB REP in good standing.
